Creative Writing

As a creative writer I produce experimental poetry and prose, art writing and memoir.

My texts range from the fragmentary to fully developed literary sequences and series. In all of these works I recover and recycle personal experience, transforming it through the literary and creative act into something other.

I concentrate on acts of self-representation and re-creation. I am always attentive to the rhythms of sentences and thoughts.

I am very pleased to be the writer for the HOARD art project in Leeds. In addition to this I am working on a number of collaborations with artists.

I am also the author of the critical-creative blog, The Literary Critical Detective, about which you can find more details here.
