This last weekend has been one of publications and republications.
On Saturday, my review of the Yorkshire Life Aquatic ‘Million Dollar Mermaid’ Gala at Barnsley Civic, originally posted on this website here, was picked up and republished by Jason White on the Alternative Barnsley website. You can see the review on this site by clicking here.
Then, on Sunday morning, I finally had time to publish my extensive interview with Karen Sherwood, the owner of Cupola Contemporary Art in Hillsborough, Sheffield. In the interview we discuss a wide range of issues surrounding art, the current ‘art environment’ and the process of exhibition curation. You can read the full interview – together with my own personal intro – by clicking here.
Then, finally, on Sunday my preview of this year’s ‘Off the Shelf’ festival in Sheffield was published on the DigYorkshire website. The programme for this year’s ‘festival of words’ looks fantastic. My preview will help you navigate your way through the different events. You can read this preview here.
So that's the full set - a preview, a review and an interview!
